As much as I liked the instant-loss aspect of the original posting of this series, I also like having the backstory of the prince's transformation into a princess filled-in!
I think that the instant-loss format works better if it's utilized only for compact stand-alone single or double-page stories (maybe 3 or 4, at the absolute most) so that the audience doesn't get too attached to the characters
